Buzz Bryson was the unanimous choice for the 2016 Man of the Year award because he just seemed to be everywhere this year! Above and beyond working both the Rummage sale and the Harvest Dinner from start to finish, he was on most, if not all of the rummage sale pickups, he manned the garage on many Saturdays collecting donations, and he set up and tore down for the Harvest Dinner. To illustrate my point, two weeks before the rummage sale, I sent out my “Crunch Schedule” detailing where we needed help every day leading up to the sale. Buzz responded in less than an hour with his own detailed list of what days & times he was available to help, which was most of them!

Buzz wasn't able to accept his award in person, and when I let him know he'd won, his response was, “I am really honored at the award, and appreciate your recognition. I would like to say, however, that I never showed up for an event alone. Please pass my thanks to everyone.”
