This year's winner was a unanimous selection by the committee because he exemplifies service not only to the club but to the community as well.
I'm sure we are all familiar with the movie, The Wizard of Oz and can remember the line, "Pay no attention to the man behind the green curtain." Well, this year's winner is truly that man behind the curtain & I am sure he would prefer that you didn't notice everything he does from behind the scenes. He has played a major part in every event the club has held this year. Whether it is quietly making suggestions and sharing his years of experience or taking on the tasks nobody else could do or running to get something that was forgotten or just being someone to lean on, he has been there. He is the "secret ingredient" to the Alden Men's Club's success!
