How this event came to be:
The Alden Men's Club is hosting this tournament to honor one of our
members, Robert Sarhatt, who passed away in April 2010. Robert was a
consummate gentleman and was widely known for his generosity and his
willingness to help other people. Out of respect for Bob, the proceeds from the
tournament will be used to support two things Bob was very passionate about:
local food pantries and providing scholarships.
